A Trip Down Memory Lane

Hi friends! We love Thursdays here at EMHS Foundation Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals because we try to take a trip down memory lane.

Our friend, David Cole, American Forest Managment (AFM) in Milford, shared this picture with me following this last September’s Log a Load for Maine Kids Golf Tournament. For 20 years, David has championed the importance of local pediatric healthcare. He truly is the backbone of the annual golf tournament.

“In 1997, George and I presented the first Log-A-Load For Kids donation from Champion Maine operations to Barbette Mason of the Professional Logging Contractors of Maine (PLC) at the Costigan Stud Mill.

20 years later with PLC’s Dana Doran, we’re still helping raise donations at JATO Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln!”

Such a great memory! Log a Load for Maine Kids, which is really a collaboration of our trucking and forest products industry, and their friends, plays an integral role in helping us care for Maine kids. We’re so thankful for the support, generosity, and kindness.
