Log A Load for Kids Group Hosts 23rd Annual Golf Classic

This year marked the 23rd annual Tommy Usher Log A Load for Kids Golf Classic. Thanks to the hard work of Ken and Lynetta Griner, along with representatives from Farm Credit of Florida, Dee Dot Timberlands, N.G. Wade Investments, Inc., Suwanee Lumber Company and the Florida Forestry Association, the golf event took place on October 19, 2017 in Chiefland, FL.

Event organizers have relied heavily on other friends, family, and industry partners to make it a success each and every year. The event is named in memory of Tommy Usher, who passed away in 1989 and was the youngest member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Forestry Association. Photo by Sean Arnold with Chiefland Citizen.
