Hitting the Links for Maine Kids

Spring is in the air, and with it the promise of a new beginning. This means it’s the perfect time to make plans to join us for the annual Northern Maine Log A Load for Kids Golf Tournament on Friday, September 17, at Jato Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t recognize that last year’s tournaments posed challenges beyond our control. While we’ll continue to adhere to the state’s CDC guidelines, our goal is to return to a tournament that’s full of the traditions you’ve come to look forward to – an enjoyable day on the golf course with family and friends in support of Maine’s two Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The funds raised will help the team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center purchase the life-saving therapies, highly-specialized medical equipment, and advanced training for staff needed to care for the thousands of kids and their families who rely on this care, close to home. These funds are saving the lives of kids, like MacKenzie, a 15-year old from East Machias who was born three months early, and who spent 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit fighting for her life. Today, she is a happy and healthy teenager who is so grateful for everyone’s support.

Together, we’ll continue to change kids’ lives. Together, we’ll change the future! Register online today by visiting www.miraclesinmaine.org.
