A Commitment to Community

The Professional Logging Contractors of Maine hosted its annual meeting, dinner, and auction on Friday, May 4 at Jeff’s Catering in Bangor. The evening is always a great night, and highlighted with an uplifting charity auction to benefit EMHS Foundation Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Another important highlight is the awards and recognition portion of the evening, and this year, the logging community selected Katahdin Fire Company in Old Town as the recipient of the 2018 Community Service Award. And, they were recognized, in large part, because of their involvement in the northern Maine Log a Load for Kids program.
